Crane was a loving and giving person who had a zest for life and a wonderful sense of humor. Her main joy in life was spending precious time with her family and friends.She rarely missed her children’s activities and attended all her grandchildren’s graduations. Ruth went home to be with her beloved husband and son on November 3, 2017 after a short illness. Kimmey, 76, of Montgomery, Texas will be held on Wednesday, January 3, 2017 at PM at the First Baptist Church in Willis with the Rev. Interment will follow at Pace Stancil-Memorial Rest Gardens cemetery.The family will receive friends from PM until PM at the church.She met and married the love of her life, Buck on July 19, 1968 in Splendora, Texas.

Joyce is survived by her loving family: husband, Jerry Smith; Daughters and sons-in-law, Beverly and James Rachel, Sheryl and David Valverde, Cynthia and Richard Kackley, Melissa Highberg and Kathie and Michael Brod; brother, Robert Friend; grandchildren, John, Jacob, Jarred, Jessica, David, Noah, Sean, Aaron, Andrew, Brandon, Alexander, Taylor and Madyson; many other dear relatives also survive.

Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, December 2, 2017 at A. at First Presbyterian Church in Conroe with the Rev. She was especially close to her great granddaughter, Emi, and loved helping her with her homework and learning to read.
